Public Registries
The Commissioner maintains a Public Registry of compliance documents required of Members of the House of Commons and public office holders.
Public Registry for Members of the House of Commons
Please note that the electronic registry only contains documents that have been signed after January 27, 2009, the date on which the new forms were adopted by the House of Commons. The registry will be updated daily with new completed Disclosure Summaries as they are returned by Members and will also include new public statements of gifts and other benefits and sponsored travel as well as notices of material change.
The paper registry with past and future documents will continue to be available for public inspection at our Office during normal business hours, and copies can also be faxed or mailed upon request.
It is important to draw your attention to the fact that the text in the declarations is provided in the preferred language of the Member.
While returning Members may have been in compliance with the Conflict of Interest Code for Members of the House of Commons during the previous session of Parliament, as a result of the election held in October 2008, all Members – both new and re-elected – are required to file a statement disclosing their private interests and those of their family members with the Office. In order to determine the stage of the initial compliance process at which the Member is, please consult the MP Status Report.
Please note that once an individual ceases to be a Member of Parliament, his or her public declarations are no longer available.
